SBV made a net withdrawal in the context of excess liquidity. This is quite evident in the fact that the overnight interbank interest rate remained at only 3.39%, down sharply from nearly 6% a month ago. Accordingly, the size of treasury bills increased rapidly from 0 to VND100,000 billion after only a few trading sessions.
