VN-Index struggled around the reference level before bouncing up strongly after 2pm. Basic resources, real estates and financial services were the most positive sectors today with typical stocks such as VHM, DXG, NKG, HPG, SSI, etc. VHM stock mostly gained today after the news of selling part of the Vinhomes Ocean Park 3 project to CapitaLand with a total value of up to USD1.5 billion.

According to the SBV, the average overnight interbank interest rate (main term accounts for 90-95% of the transaction value) in the session of March 17 fell to 3.4% from 4.14%/year. Thus, compared to the previous record of 6.22% last week ago, the interbank overnight interest rate has decreased by nearly half.
