US stocks fell on Friday (July 7) and ended the week in the red, as Wall Street tried to shake off concerns that the US Federal Reserve (Fed) could start raising interest rates. The US Labor Department June jobs report showed that the number of jobs increased less than expected, cooling down compared to the May report. Specifically, the US economy added 209,000 jobs in June, less than the 240,000 jobs forecast from a Dow Jones poll.
