US stocks fell on Friday (September 15), as investors closed out a volatile week before the US Federal Reserve's (Fed) policy meeting. Information technology was the S&P 500's worst-performing sector, down nearly 2%. Adobe shares fell more than 4% a day after this company announced better-than-expected quarterly results. Arm Holdings shares lost 4.2% a day after its successful IPO.
