The Nasdaq advanced, with tech and tech-adjacent momentum stocks led by Amazon.com, Apple and Meta Platforms providing much of the heavy lifting, while the S&P 500 and the DJIA lost ground. Amazon.com jumped 6.8% after the e-commerce giant reported its cloud business growth is stabilizing and predicted a revenue increase over the holiday season.

At the end of October 27, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 24,107 VND/USD, a slight decrease of VND3 compared to the previous weekend session. The spot exchange rate for the weekend session was listed at 25,262 VND/USD, lower than the ceiling exchange rate of VND50. Exchange rates on the black market remained little volatile over the past week.
