Asian stocks mostly increased today, mainly driven by technology stocks. The most positive in Asia was the Japanese market when the Nikkei index increased by 1.16% after information that Tokyo's CPI in December decreased as expected. Investors are also expecting this trend to happen in Japan.

After a sharp decrease of 1,000,000 VND/tael in the January 8 session, SJC gold price has reversed to increase by about 500,000 VND/tael today. At Saigon Jewelry Company, the price of gold bars increased by 500,000 VND/tael for both buying and selling, to 71.5-74.5 million VND/tael. This is also the price currently listed at DOJI Group.
