Asian stock markets mostly increased today. The Nikkei 225 closed at a 34-year high with a gain of 0.8%. Hang Seng led Asian markets, largely driven by shares of major real estate corporations, shortly after news that five state-owned Chinese banks would inject liquidity into more than 8,200 projects under the "white list" mechanism.
