The market has continuously weakened when VNIndex has not been able to break through its 21-month peak. After opening slightly up to above 1,295 points, VN-Index quickly turned to cool down and fell below reference after 10:30 am. POW was one of the most positive stocks when it closed up 3.7%, during the session there was a time when POW increased up to 5.5%.

Asian stocks were in a guarded mood on Tuesday as investors pondered fresh political uncertainty in European markets. Chinese blue chips fell 1.2% while the yuan hit a seven-month low.

This afternoon, the domestic gold price stabilized at the selling price of 76.98 million VND/tael. World oil prices were steady on Tuesday, as investors waited for key U.S. and China CPI data as well as the outcome of the Federal Reserve's policy meeting to glean a clearer picture of where inflation is heading and how that will affect fuel demand.
