Asia markets were mostly lower on Thursday as China kept its one-year and five-year loan prime rates unchanged. Earlier this week, the People’s Bank of China also kept the 1-year medium-term lending facility rate steady at 2.5%. Mainland China’s CSI 300 dipped 0.72%, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index fell by 0.65%.

SBV announced an adjustment of the central exchange rate to 24,257 VND/USD today (June 20th), a decrease of VND2 compared to the previous trading session. Exchange rates at banks also recorded downward adjustments.
