Japan’s stock markets hit an eight-month low on Friday, as they declined for two straight days after the Bank of Japan raised benchmark interest rates to their highest level since 2008. The Nikkei 225 tumbled 5.81%, marking its worst day since March 2020 and dropping below 36,000 mark for the first time since January.

This afternoon, the buying price of SJC gold bars continued to increase sharply, while the selling price remained unchanged at 79.8 million VND/tael. In contrast, the price of 24K jewelry gold turned down slightly but remained above 77 million VND/tael.
