In the session on August 5, the SBV lent nearly VND13,669 billion through the OMO channel with a term of 7 days and an interest rate of 4.25%/year. Compared to the previous session, the scale of OMO lending by the SBV has more than doubled and the lending interest rate has decreased by 0.25%, from 4.5%/year to 4.25%/year.

Accordingly, the 1-month term interest rate increased by 0.3%/year to 3.3%/year, the 6-month term interest rate increased sharply by 0.8%/year to 4.9%/year. Meanwhile, the 12-13 month term interest rate is currently 5.4%/year, after increasing by 0.5%/year.
