The Nasdaq Composite Index rose to a new record high on Friday (Oct 25), boosted by large-cap tech stocks, while the Dow and S&P 500 fell. Nvidia, Meta Platforms, Amazon and Microsoft were all positive. HCA Healthcare, on the other hand, fell nearly 9% after reporting that storm disruptions had impacted its earnings and full-year outlook.
