U.S. stocks rose on Friday (September 19), with all major indexes logging weekly gains. Over the past week, the S&P 500 advanced 1.2%, the Dow Jones added 1%, and the Nasdaq Composite jumped 2.2%. Leading Friday’s rally, Apple shares surged 3.2% as the company’s latest iPhone went on sale worldwide. Tesla stock also climbed 2.2%.

Proprietary trading desks of securities firms recorded a net buy of VND 271 billion on September 19, led by SHB (VND 65 billion), STB (VND 55 billion), TCB (VND 30 billion), and GEX (VND 23 billion). In contrast, they net sold HPG (VND 28 billion) and TPB (VND 12 billion).
