Wall Street posted its fourth straight session of gains, hitting a series of record highs thanks to a rally in tech stocks and optimism over lower interest rates. Leading the charge was Nvidia, which jumped 3.9% after the company announced a $100 billion investment in OpenAI to build data centers.

Gold prices continued to surge, reaching a new record of 3,753 USD/ounce this morning, driven by growing expectations of further U.S. rate cuts and strong safe-haven demand amid prolonged political uncertainty.

VN-Index had a sharp decline, pressured mainly by the Vingroup group of stocks. Meanwhile, proprietary trading desks of securities companies recorded a net buy of 357 billion VND on September 22, with the largest inflows into MBB (48 billion), HPG (48 billion), MWG (39 billion), and VIC (36 billion). On the other hand, they net sold VRE (23 billion) and VNM (21 billion).
