US stocks hit fresh record highs on Tuesday (October 28) as investors continued to buy into artificial intelligence (AI) trades, a day before the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision. The market rally was led by Nvidia shares, which rose 5% to a fresh record. Nvidia made a series of announcements on Tuesday at the GTC conference, including a partnership with Finnish company Nokia.
