- At the end of 11/16 session, US stocks simultaneously gained after receiving new information about Covid-19 vaccine of Moderna, raising expectation for the recovery of the economy. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 470.63 points, or 1.6%, to close at 29,950.44 points. The Dow closed at a record high. The S&P 500 rose 1.2 percent to 3,626.91 points, reaching an all-time high. Nasdaq Composite rose 0.8% to 11,924.13 points.
