- At the end of December 23, the S&P 500 index erased almost all of the intraday gains and closed almost unchanged as investors massively took profits, amidst Trump's continued conflict with Congress on the stimulus package. The S&P 500 rose less than 0.1 percent, or just 2.75 points, to 3,690.01, after rising 0.7 percent earlier in the day. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 114.32 points, or 0.38%, to 30,129.83 points. At the intraday high, the Dow Jones rallied 277 points. Nasdaq Composite fell 0.3 percent, or 36.80 points, to 12,771.11, as major tech stocks Amazon, Apple and Microsoft all fell.

- The latest preliminary statistics of the General Department of Customs show that the total value of goods import and export of Vietnam in the period 1 December 2020 (from December 1 to December 15, 2020) reached 25 45, down 2.5% (corresponding to a decrease of 651) compared to the results in the second half of November 2020.
