- Ending the 8/3 session, Dow Jones recorded positive movements when investors were excited by the news that the Senate passed the $1.9tr stimulus package. However, the sell-off still affects the rest of the market. Dow Jones rose 306.14 points (1%), to 31,802.44 points, led by Disney shares. The Nasdaq Composite lost 2.4%, closing to 12,609.16, with Apple down 4.2% and Tesla down 5.8%. Alphabet and Netflix both fell more than 4%. Nasdaq fell into correction territory as it was more than 10% below the February 12.

Small or micro businesses often incur more expensive borrowing costs than large and medium sized businesses. It is worth noting that businesses will not be able to borrow money without collateral. Besides, loan procedures are still troublesome and complicated.

- The two exchanges were mixed in the afternoon session. The VN-Index declined due to the impact of large-cap stocks such as VCB, VHM, MSN, VNM, ACB, TCB, and VPB. On the other side, GAS, POW, NVL, GVR, KBC played the role of supporting the index. Closing the session, GAS stock increased by 2.7% to 95,000 VND/share.
