- At the end of March 31, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq gained and recorded momentum for the first quarter, as technology stocks flourished and investors pondered President Biden's new infrastructure spending plan. The S&P 500 ended the session 0.4 percent higher at 3,972.89 points, after gaining 0.9 percent. The Nasdaq Composite rose 1.5 percent to 13,246.87 points, with Apple, Microsoft and Facebook all up at least 1.6 percent. Tesla increased by more than 5%. The Dow Jones industrial average fell 85.41 points, or 0.3%, to 32,981.55 points.

- Compared to the same period last year, CPI in March increased by 1.16%. This is assessed as the lowest level since 2016. Thus, the average CPI in Q1/2021 increased by 0.29%, and is the lowest increase in the past 20 years. In addition to the reasons for the increase in CPI in the first quarter of 2021, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, there are also a number of factors to the CPI control.
