- At the end of the week, the Dow Jones rose 1.2%, the S&P 500 up 1.4% and the Nasdaq increases 1.1%. This is the fourth consecutive week of increase for the S&P 500 and Dow Jones. This week, the S&P 500 peaked at 3 sessions. 9/11 sectors in the S&P 500 closed on April 16 in the green, except for energy and information technology. Investors' confidence in the future appears to be stable, with the CBOE VIX index measuring fear on Wall Street plunging 1.9% to a 14-month low.

- The GSO has just released a report on the labor and employment situation in the first quarter, in which 9.1 million people were negatively affected by the Covid-19 epidemic. Specifically, 540,000 people lost their jobs; 2.8 million people have to temporarily stop or suspend production and business; 3.1 million workers have their working hours cut or forced to take time off, take turns, and 6.5 million workers have their incomes reduced.
