- The S&P 500 index wiped out early gains and ended Friday's session mostly flat, as the tech sector came under pressure again amid a continuing drop in Bitcoin's price. Ending Friday's session, the S&P 500 index fell nearly 0.1% to 4,155.86 points after gaining 0.7% at the beginning of the session. The Nasdaq Composite fell 0.5% to 13,470.99. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones index added 123.69 points (or 0.4%) to 34,207.84 points thanks to the rally of Boeing shares.
