- Wall Street is up slightly, S&P 500 nears a record. At the end of Wednesday's session, the S&P 500 index rose 0.14% to 4,208.12 points, only about 0.7% away from reaching the record high recorded in May 2021. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 25 points to 34,600.38. The Nasdaq Composite Index advanced 0.14% to 13,756.33 points. All three major indexes are pretty close to record levels. The Dow Jones and Nasdaq Composite were 1.4% and 3.2% below their record highs, respectively.

- The trade balance changed direction for the first time in May. In the first 5 months of the year, Vietnam had a trade deficit of 369 million USD. However, Deputy Director of the Import-Export Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade affirmed that this trade deficit is not sudden and not worrisome.
