- The Vietnam Pepper Association (VPA) said that in the first six months of 2021, pepper exports were estimated at 155,000 tons, equivalent to US$500 million, down 7% in volume but up 41% in value over the same period last year. The reason, in addition to the reduced output, is also due to the high logistics costs in the context of the Covid-19 epidemic causing many difficulties.
