- Session 18/8: Foreign investors net sold a record 7 months with a value of 1,922 billion dong. This is the strongest net selling session of foreign investors in Vietnam market since January 15, 2021. The "discharge" today, in addition to focusing on VHM and SSI like the previous sessions, also recorded a net sale of FUEVFVND fund certificates with more than 301 billion dong.

- New Zealand kept interest rates unchanged, Asian stocks rose. In Japan, the Nikkei 225 gained 0.30%. The Japanese government decided to extend the state of emergency in Tokyo and other areas until September 12. The Chinese market rose with the Shanghai Composite up 1.11% and the Shenzhen Component up 0.721%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.47%. South Korea's Kospi index rose 0.5%.
