- US stocks rose to a new record high on Tuesday (October 26), as major companies continued to post positive third-quarter business results, but the main indexes closed the session away from their peaks. with some tech stocks weakening. At the end of the session, the Dow Jones index added 15.73 points to a new record high of 35,756.88 points. The S&P 500 index advanced nearly 0.2% to 4,574.79 points, also notching a new record high. The Nasdaq Composite Index edged up nearly 0.1% to 15,235.7.

- The latest preliminary statistics of the General Department of Customs show that the total import and export value of Vietnam's goods in the first half of October reached 26.14 billion USD, down more than 10% compared to the second half of September. In general, the total import-export value of the whole country by the end of October 15 reached nearly US$510.5 billion, up 23.6% over the same period in 2020.

Since the beginning of October, foreign investors have net sold nearly 7,000 billion dong on HoSE, thereby increasing the net selling volume from the beginning of 2021 to now to 48 trillion dong.
