US stocks fell sharply on Wednesday (January 5), with the Dow Jones seeing its first decline of 2022, as Wall Street braced for the possibility of further tightening of monetary policy. Ending the session, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 392.54 points (or 1.07%) to 36,407.11 points, after hitting a record high at the beginning of the session. The S&P 500 fell 1.94% to 4,700.58 points. The Nasdaq Composite Index lost 3.34% to 15,100.20, its biggest drop since February 2021.

According to the Government's report, it is expected that the 729 km North-South Expressway will have a total investment of about 146,990 billion VND. However, according to calculations by the State Audit, the total investment for this project may be 130,605 billion VND, lower than 16,330 billion VND.

In 2021, HPG was the strongest net buyer with a value of up to VND 19,900 billion by domestic investors. Second in the list of net buyers was VPB with 9,000 billion dong. VNM and CTG are also two stocks that are strongly net bought by individuals and are both over 5,000 billion dong. On the other side, MWG was sold the most with 3,000 billion dong.
