Large bank stocks fell sharply on Friday (January 14) after business results, thereby putting pressure on the US stock market as Wall Street recorded a second consecutive week of losses in the beginning of 2022. Ending Friday's session, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 201.81 points (or 0.56%) to 35,911.81 points. The S&P 500 index added 0.08% to 4,662.85 points, while the Nasdaq Composite added 0.59% to 14,893.80 points.
