Bank of Japan made interest rate decision, Asian stocks rallied. In Japan, the Nikkei 225 gained 0.42%. The Bank of Japan today kept its monetary policy unchanged as the market expected. The agency warned of "extreme uncertainties" related to the war situation in Ukraine and the impact on economic activity and prices in Japan. The Chinese market rallied with the Shanghai Composite up 1.12%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 1.28%.

According to preliminary statistics of the General Department of Customs, animal feed exports in February decreased by 7% compared to January but increased by 66.3% over the same period last year, at USD 78 million. Generally, in the first two months of this year, the export of this group of goods reached US$161.6 million, up 46.2% over the same period last year.

HPG: Started construction of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Phase 2 with investment capital of VND 85,000 billion in May. In which, Complex 1 (capital of over VND 63,800 billion) has been completed and put into operation in both phases, Hoa Phat Dung Quat general-container port (over VND 3,770 billion) is under construction. It is expected that in June 2023, 1 wharf will be put into operation and in December 2023, all 3 berths will be synchronously put into operation.
