U.S. stocks rallied on Monday (April 4) as investors shook off recession fears and bought into technology stocks, which suffered a decline in the first quarter. At the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 103.61 points, or 0.7%, to 34,921.88, and the S&P 500 gained 1.15% to 4,582.64. Both these indexes have increased for 2 consecutive sessions..

Recently, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the initiation of an investigation against evasion of anti-dumping and anti-subsidy taxes with solar panels imported from Vietnam and three other Southeast Asian countries, namely Thailand. , Malaysia and Cambodia. Accordingly, the US accused Vietnamese enterprises of evading anti-dumping and anti-subsidy taxes that the US is applying to solar battery products imported from China.

The trend of capital flows into ETFs is somewhat mixed. Some funds attract capital quite well such as DCVFM VNDiamond ETF, Fubon FTSE Vietnam ETF…but there are also cases of strong capital withdrawal such as VNM ETF, FTSE Vietnam ETF or DCVFM VN30 ETF. The Fubon FTSE Vietnam ETF attracted the best capital in Q1 about $58m being "pumped" into the fund.
