US stocks fell sharply on Thursday (June 9) ahead of an important inflation report, as investors worried about the state of the US economy. At the end of the session, the Dow Jones index dropped 638.11 points (equivalent to 1.94%) to 32,272.79 points. The S&P 500 lost 2.38% to 4,017.82 points, and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 2.75% to 11,754.23 points.
