The stock market started the new week with a rather cautious session. The focus of money attraction in today's session was steel stocks when many codes simultaneously gained to the limit. HPG broke out 3.9% and was the stock with the most positive impact on the market. NKG, HSG and TLH even increased in amplitude.

At the end of the session, the Asia - Pacific market mostly dropped. The Shanghai Composite Index (China) fell 0.07%, the Kospi index (South Korea) dropped 2.77%, the Hang Seng index (Hong Kong) dropped 1.16%, the SET index (Thailand) dropped 1.06%. In contrast, the Nikkei 225 (Japan) gained 0.2%.

According to the latest report of S&P Global, the Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) of Vietnam's manufacturing industry in August reached 52.7 points, up from 51.2 points in July. This result shows the strong improvement of the manufacturing sector in the period between the third quarter of 2022. Business conditions have now improved for 11 consecutive months.
