US stocks fell in the first trading session of the week after the holiday as investors raised concerns about the US Federal Reserve's (Fed) interest rate policy in the near future, besides an energy crisis in Europe. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 173.14 points, or 0.55%, to 31,145.3 points. The S&P 500 index fell 0.41% to 3,908.19. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 0.74% to 11,544.91 points. The Nasdaq's losing streak extended into the seventh session, the longest since 2016.

According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the number of domestic tourists in August 2022 is estimated at 8 million, of which about 5.3 million are staying. In 8 months, the total number of domestic tourists reached about 79.8 million, 19.8 million higher than the 2022 target.
