US stocks recovered impressively in the context of both government bond yields and head prices falling, reducing investors' concerns about high inflation. Accordingly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 435.98 points, or 1.4%, to 31,581.28 points. The S&P 500 index rose 1.83% to 3,979.87. The Nasdaq Composite Index rose 2.14% to 11,791.9 points, ending a seven-day losing streak, the longest since 2016.

Moody's has just upgraded Vietnam's rating from Ba3 to Ba2, with a stable outlook. The company explained that the ranking upgrade reflects Vietnam's growing economic strength compared to other countries in the same group. Resilience to external macroeconomic shocks has also improved. These results show that the effectiveness of the policy has been enhanced.

On HoSE, foreign investors continued to net sell VND448 bil (up 66% compared to the previous session), corresponding to a net selling volume of more than 13 mil shares. This is also the 7th consecutive net selling session with a total value of VND1,750 bil. VND were the strongest net selling stock on HoSE with VND75 bil. Meanwhile, HDB was the strongest net bought with VND46 bil.
