US stocks increased on Monday (October 24), as investors tried to extend the strong rally from last week and considered the latest developments in interest rates. At the end of the session, the Dow Jones index rose 417.06 points (equivalent to 1.34%) to 31,499.62 points. The S&P 500 index added 1.19% to 3,797.34 points. The Nasdaq Composite Index went up by 0.86% to 10,952.61 points.

On October 23, at a conference to implement the Politburo's Resolution on the direction of socio-economic development to ensure national defense in the Southeast region, the Minister of Transport said that he expected the total demand for investment in transport infrastructure in this region is about VND738,500 billion from now to 2030.
