Asian stocks had their biggest gain since March 2020 as China eased COVID-19 control regulations and Wall Street rallied on news of cooling inflation. Nikkei 225 (Japan), Kospi (Korea), Shanghai Composite (China) all increased strongly by 2-3%. Particularly, Hang Seng (Hong Kong) increased the most in Asia today with an increase of nearly 8%.

SBV suddenly reduced the spot selling price of USD to 10 VND, from 23,870 VND/USD to 23,860 VND/USD. At the same time, SBV continued to stop listing the intervening buying rate. Since the beginning of the year, this is the first time the SBV has reduced the selling price of USD after 6 times of increasing this selling price.
