US stocks rose on Thursday (January 26), as investors looked at lots of corporate earnings reports and higher-than-expected US GDP figures for the fourth quarter of 2022. The US Commerce Department said GDP data released on Thursday showed the US economy grew at a 2.9% rate in the fourth quarter of 2022, higher than the 2.8% growth forecast from the Dow Jones, but representing a slight decrease compared to the growth in the third quarter of 2022.

According to data recently announced by the SBV, by the end of November 2022, the total deposits of customers at credit institutions reached more than VND11.55 million billion, an increase of more than VND126,600 billion compared to the end of the October. This is the highest month-on-month increase since March 2022.
