Following the US market, Vietnam stock market showed a negative effect when it was in the red right from the beginning of the session and started to plunge. VN-Index dropped deeply in the session by more than 20 points, reaching the bottom of February. The turning point only occurred at the end of the session when the market "turned around", rebounded from the strong bottom and ended the session near the reference.

Asia-Pacific markets were mixed on Thursday as investors digested minutes released by the U.S. Federal Reserve that showed members are still committed to fighting inflation with rate hikes. Shanghai Composite and Hang Seng fell, while Kospi gained 0.89% as the Bank of Korea held its interest rates at 3.5% in line with the expectation.
