Asian stock markets mostly fell in June 22 afternoon, after the US Fed Chairman Jerome Powell's statement that the US may have to continue raising interest rates to control inflation. Currently, investors are shifting their focus to waiting for the Bank of England (BoE) interest rate decision to be announced later today.

According to Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu, the current credit limit is not lacking but in the near future the State Bank will assign the credit limit until the end of the year so that banks can actively implement credit growth.

The trend of interest rate reduction has not shown any signs of slowing down when recently, the group of 4 state-owned commercial banks, namely Agribank, Vietcombank, VietinBank and BIDV, have officially joined in. Accordingly, the Big4 group simultaneously reduced the highest deposit interest rate to 6.3%/year, for deposits of 12 months or more. With nearly half of the deposit mobilization market share in the market, the Big4's move is likely to lower the deposit interest rate further in the near future.
