After a strong drop at the end of last week, the stock market continued to move negatively and dropped in most of today's session. However, the decline has slowed down significantly when gradually towards the end of the session, VN-Index had a recovery rhythm to help the index close in green. Liquidity remained at a high level with volume and trading value reach over 1 million shares and over VND22,100 billion, respectively.

Asian stock markets were mixed on Monday after China cut its key lending rate by a smaller margin than expected. China's Shenzhen and Shanghai indexes fell 1.32% and 1.24%, respectively, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng index fell 1.82%. The PBOC cut its one-year lending prime rate (LPR) by 10 basis points, while the five-year rate, used to determine mortgage costs, was left unchanged.

Currently, the USD price in the afternoon of buying and selling is popular at 24,050-24,150 VND/USD.
