The stock market started the new week quite positively, as VNIndex jumped 6 points from the beginning and remained in green throughout the session. Chemicals and basic resources were the sectors with impressive gains today while insurance was the loser, but the decline was not significant.

CTG: Vietinbank has just announced the change of Deputy General Director in charge of the Executive Board. Specifically, VietinBank dismissed Mr. Nguyen Hoang Dung from the position of Deputy General Director in charge of the Executive Board because of his retirement to enjoy the social insurance regime from September 1, 2023. At the same time, the bank appointed Mr. Do Thanh Son - Deputy General Director to assume the position of Deputy General Director in charge of the Executive Board from September 1, 2023 until another decision to replace it.
