After yesterday's sharp decline, investors expected the market to recover, causing VNIndex to open in green this morning. However, the green color only remained until about 10am. When selling pressure increased again, causing the market to return below the reference level. Towards the end of the session, VNIndex had a few upswings but not strong enough.

Asian stock markets witnessed red in the trading session on September 19, as investors became increasingly concerned about weakness in the Chinese real estate sector. Closing this session, Japan's Nikkei 225 index decreased 0.87%, mainly due to the sell-off of technology "blue chip" stocks by investors, after Reuters news agency reported that TSMC, the manufacturer the world's largest semiconductor (chip) manufacturer, has asked major suppliers to delay deliveries.

CTG: VietinBank has just announced a new deposit interest rate schedule with a reduction of 0.2 - 0.3 percentage points for terms of 3 months or more. Specifically, interest rates for terms from 3 months to less than 6 months decreased from 3.8% to 3.5%/year; Terms from 6 months to less than 12 months decreased from 4.7% to 4.5%/year. For terms of 12 months or more, VietinBank is applying the highest deposit interest rate of 5.5%/year, down 0.3 percentage points compared to before.
