The stock market turned green right from the beginning of the session and at the time VNIndex was pulled up to nearly 11.5 points. Near the end of the session, the index's upward momentum gradually narrowed as there seemed to be no new cash inflow into the market. Market liquidity is at a record low with volume and trading value of nearly 575 million shares and nearly VND14,000 billion VND, respectively (on the HSX).

Asian stocks were mixed on Friday. Holidays in China and South Korea caused trading volumes to decline on Friday. Hong Kong's Hang Seng increased 2.51% thank to bottom-fishing activity. Technology stocks were one of the main drivers of the recovery, with Baidu Inc, Alibaba Group Holding Ltd and Tencent Holdings Ltd - three major Chinese technology stocks - rising between 1.7% and 3%.

The State Bank (SBV) has just announced the results of open market bidding today (September 29). Accordingly, this agency continues to offer 28-day T-bills according to the interest rate auction mechanism. As a result, 4/4 participating members won the bid with a total volume of VND3,800 billion, interest rate 1%.
