Continuing the positivity in last week, the stock market opened with a slight increase. But just a few minutes later, VNIndex was pulled below the reference level. During the remaining time, VNIndex traded in green in a narrow range and at the end of the session, the index increased quite unexpectedly and closed at the highest level of the session.

In September 2023, statistics from the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) showed 27 private bond issuances by 15 businesses with a total mobilized value of VND29,315 billion. Compared to August, this number increased by VND4,460 billion, equivalent to nearly 18%.

BIDV and Agribank have signed credit contracts to finance 3 social housing projects in Phu Tho, Quang Ninh, and Bac Ninh provinces. The disbursement amount reached VND82.7 billion. Thus, currently there are only 2 banks and 3 localities implementing a credit package of VND120,000 billion. Meanwhile, all four banks with state capital including Agribank, Vietcombank, VietinBank and BIDV committed to each bank lending VND30,000 billion at preferential interest rates.
