The State Bank net injected nearly VND8,400 billion in the October 20 session. The number of winning treasury bills decreased sharply in the last two sessions of the week. With the total amount of mature bills reaching nearly VND20,000 billion, the SBV has net injected a total of nearly VND14,100 billion into the banking system.

VCB: On October 20, Vietcombank continued to announce changes to the savings deposit interest rate schedule, reducing deposit interest rates by 0.2 percentage points for all terms. This is the second time this bank has reduced interest rates in October. For over-the-counter deposit interest rates, Vietcombank applies 1-2 month term deposit interest rates at 2.8%/year, 3-5 month terms. reduced to 3.1%/year, 4.1% for 6-9 month terms, 5.1%/year for 12 months or more.
