U.S stocks mostly rose on Friday after data showed that annual U.S. inflation slowed. The Commerce Department report also showed U.S. prices fell in November for the first in more than 3.5 years. The U.S. benchmark S&P 500 is inching closer to its all-time closing high.

In the energy market, oil prices eased amid expectations that Angola could increase output after leaving OPEC, while worries remained that Houthi attacks on ships in the Red Sea were boosting supply costs.
