The S&P 500 index closed at a new record high, as all three major indexes increased on Thursday (February 15), after recovering from the sharp decline suffered earlier this week. Tesla and Meta Platforms shares outperformed, rising 6% and 2%, respectively. Wells Fargo shares jumped 7% after the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency ended a major penalty against the bank.
