Most Asian markets fell today as investors assessed the newly released economic data from China. Specifically, China's industrial production and real estate investment statistics did not meet forecasts, causing the Shanghai Composite Index to decline 0.58%. Besides, Japan's Nikkei 225 index also fell sharply by 1.83% due to the impact of energy and real estate stocks.

On June 17th, global gold prices reversed and declined after a strong increase at the end of the previous week, while domestic gold prices remained stable at VND76.98 million/tael. Currently, domestic gold prices are trading at VND5.64 million/tael higher than global ones.
