S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite both dropped on June 21 due to the cooling of technology stocks. Specifically, Nvidia shares fell 3.2% after reaching an all-time high in the previous session. The dollar edged higher against other major currencies on Friday, hitting a fresh eight-week high against the yen as data showed a strong U.S. economy and as the Federal Reserve’s patient approach to interest-rate cuts stood in contrast to more dovish peers. The DXY index was recorded at 105.87 at 6.45AM VNT on June 24.
