On July 16 trading session, DJIA increased 1.85% to a new record high and witnessed the most positive trading session since June 2023. The market has shifted its attention from mega-cap technology stocks to small-cap and cyclical stocks as the June consumer price index (CPI) showed the lowest inflation in three years. Artificial intelligence stocks such as Nvidia and Alphabet (Google) both fell more than 1%.
