US stocks fell on Wednesday (October 30), after investors digested a series of earnings reports from large-cap technology companies. AMD shares fell more than 10% as its fourth-quarter revenue outlook failed to impress investors. Super Micro Computer shares “evaporated” nearly 33% after the departure of the company’s auditor raised concerns about the company’s financial statements.
